Levant White 2021
Levant - 'land of the sunrise' in French, is the eastern Mediterranean region. In ancient times, the Levant was a major wine growing and production area known for its quality. The wines produced in the Land of Israel were distributed by the Phoenicians throughout the Mediterranean basin, in merchant ships like the one shown on the label. The Phoenicians were a Canaanite people who had close cultural and commercial ties with the people of Israel. The ancient Hebrew script and the Western scripts developed from the Phoenician script.

Dry white wine, 60% Rosanne, 40% Claret from our organic vineyard in Shfeya Valley. Harvested in a manual night harvest to preserve the quality and health of the grapes in an optimal way.
The grapes arrived early in the morning at the winery and immediately underwent separation and crushing. The juice fermented naturally for 12 weeks in large French oak barrels. At the end of fermentation, the wine continued to age in barrels.
A straw-colored wine with a medium body. The 2021 vintage produced a highly perfumed wine, with a slightly oily texture, mineral with scents of white and yellow flowers. In the mouth the flavors are consistent and long.

A living wine. A healthy wine. An ecological wine.
Organic wine is grown and made in a living, healthy environment, with respect for fertile soil, biodiversity in the vineyard, and the well-being of nature and people alike.
Organic wine ensures a wine free of toxins and rich in flavor, aroma, and color, as well as beneficial components such as antioxidants. It expresses the character of its growing region through taste and aroma, with strong potential for high quality and long aging.
What is organic wine?

The term “organic” is legally protected.
The word “organic” may be used on wine labels only when both grape growing and winemaking meet strict and clearly defined requirements.
Organic wine is made from grapes grown in vineyards free of toxins, synthetic materials, and genetic engineering. Vineyard management is carried out using ecological methods that protect people and the environment, preserve biodiversity in the vineyard, and maintain soil fertility.
Grape growing, vineyard practices, and winemaking are conducted with full transparency and under continuous supervision. Both the grape grower and the winemaker must be certified as organic producers by an authorized inspection and certification body. The IQC certification seal appears on the label and attests to compliance with all required standards.
